A public health awareness camp with displays of Sona Ayush arm’s native health supplements got off to a promising start at Salem Collectorate on April 28, 2021, in the presence of Salem District Collector, Mr.S.A Raman, the District Siddha Medical Officer and Sona Group Vice Chairman, Mr.Thyagu Valliappa.

Mr.Thyagu Valliappa said, “In the current times, it is highly imperative to strengthen the immunity of the people. We hope that the public will be able to benefit from products made from natural ingredients by Sona Ayush”.

Sona Group of Institutions has built a strong community connect through its various Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives (CSRI).

Sona Medical College of Naturopathy and Yoga was established by Vice Chairman, Mr. Thyagu Valliappa, within a short span of  time during the first COVID-19 wave. The new institution has matured into a multi-winged unit having under its fold, end-to-end Ayush solutions –  a medical college, a multispecialty clinic, hospital, medical and wellness clinic and research.

What could be a more appropriate time to intervene with health awareness than the present times?

A range of products made by Sona Ayush such as Svsita inhalers, Sona moringa soup powder, Sonarin black pepper and Sonarin pure Coorg honey were put up on display during the health awareness camp.

Dr.S.R.R.Senthil Kumar, Principal, Sona College of Technology, Dr.V. Karthikeyan, Principal, Thiagarajar Polytechnic, Dr.Kadhar Nawaz, Principal, Sona College of Arts and Science, staff members from Sona Ayush and Sona College of Naturopathy and Yoga were present at the inauguration of the event.
