World Diabetes Day Programme – 14 November 2025

The World Diabetes Day Programme was held on 14 November 2025 at the Sona 500 Hall with the aim of creating awareness about diabetes and encouraging healthy lifestyle habits among students.
The event began with an introduction to the importance of World Diabetes Day, followed by two insightful presentations delivered by student speakers from the Vrinda batch:

Ms. Sabitha presented an informative session on Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus, emphasizing its causes, clinical features, and the need for early diagnosis.

Mr. Anand delivered a detailed talk on Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, focusing on risk factors, lifestyle modifications, and preventive measures.
As a key highlight of the programme, students from all batches prepared and showcased a range of diabetic-friendly dishes, presenting creative and nutritious meal options suitable for individuals with diabetes. The enthusiastic participation of the freshers added great energy to the event, reflecting their growing awareness of healthy food choices.
The programme served as a meaningful platform for knowledge sharing, active student involvement, and hands-on learning. The event concluded with words of appreciation for all contributors, acknowledging their dedicated efforts in making the programme informative, engaging, and impactful.
