World Tuberculosis Day 2026

On the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day, Sona Medical College of Naturopathy and Yoga organized an insightful Speaker Forum at Sona 500 Hall to create awareness about tuberculosis, its causes, symptoms, prevention, and holistic management. The program, conducted by the Department of BNYS under the guidance of Dr. Santhosh Kumar K., featured engaging sessions by student presenters and faculty, covering scientific aspects of TB, treatment protocols, government initiatives like DOTS therapy, and the role of yoga and naturopathy in supporting recovery and overall well-being. With active participation from students and faculty across all batches, the event successfully highlighted the importance of early diagnosis, treatment adherence, and integrative healthcare approaches in combating tuberculosis, making it a meaningful academic and public health awareness initiative.
