DESCRIPTION:Experiencing Learning beyond the Classroom!\nStudent of Haridra batch visit to Gokulam hospital\, today\, not only enhance their understanding of healthcare but also promote empathy\, teamwork\, and real-world application of their studies. \nThese invaluable experiences bridge the gap between theory and practice\, preparing future professionals for impactful careers. \nTotal 40 students from Haridra batch (Second year) visited Gokulam hospital as part of their academic activity:\nDepartments observed are Cardiac ICU +Cardiac OT – cardiac specialist doctor explained about the present case’s diagnosis\, plan of care\, post operative complications & care; Cath lab – other cardiac specialist explained about the procedure of angiography\, investigations pre & post\, plan of care then followed by visit to post op ward – suggested the doctor to explain about the angiogram & angioplasty reports of the patients \, then explained the ECG & ventilator machine\, students volunteered interest to defibrillator – doctor explained the same regarding to indications & contraindications of the defibrillator and finally students visited the dialysis ward – nursing faculty explained about a patient report\, lab technicians at x-ray unit explained the procedures followed for the patients while performing x ray.

For the practical exposure in the subject of Nutrition and herbology in our curriculum on 20/8/24. The visit was very useful. The students have gained knowledge of various herbs and aqua plants. Distinct varieties of herbs has been shown to the students.
